Communications
Outreach and marketing volunteer responsibilities include advertising, social media, and coordination with local community groups.
Responsibilities include responding to emails, managing communications with other area nonprofits, and coordinating with our librarians to deliver accurate information to the membership.
Grantwriting
We need volunteers for both locating appropriate grants and working with the Board of Directors to apply for those grants.
Fundraising
We need volunteers for organizing fundraising events such as membership drives and donation drives, locating and coordinating with potential fiscal sponsors, and other miscellaneous funding opportunities.
Teaching
Interested in teaching a class in our workshop? We can configure the space for woodworking, metalworking, sewing, and more.
ASSISTANT LIBRARIANS & SHOP HANDS
Due to the expense of training librarians, we are looking for committed medium-long term volunteers only at this time. No prior technical knowledge necessary.
